History provides a clear and powerful warning not as a story to be studied, but as a blueprint of how things can go catastrophically wrong, very fast.

Optimism is a fragile shield against the rising tide of darkness when it becomes a blind belief that progress is inevitable. The world is at a threshold, where the unthinkable is becoming the normal. Rising fascism is not an echo of the past, but a consequence of a present where people have lost trust in institutions and each other. It’s a symptom of a society that has prioritized the short term gains of a few over the long term well being of all.

Human greed and an all consuming focus on personal ego are the acid that dissolves the bonds of a community. They turn every relationship into a transaction and every public space into a battleground for status. The lessons of the past, that unchecked power, rampant inequality, and a disregard for collective good lead to a dark and brutal end, are not whispers; they are screams. Yet, they are ignored by most, dismissed as ancient history or inconvenient truths. The greatest threat isn't a single event but our collective, willful inability to learn from what came before. It is frighteningly easy to go wrong when we're so determined to look the other way.
